Emily Rose Caroline Wilson (born 1971) is a British classicist and Associate Professor of Classics at the University of Pennsylvania.〔(Emily R. Wilson ), University of Pennsylvania.〕 She is the daughter of A. N. Wilson〔Wesley Yang ("‘Highbrow Fight Club’" ), ''New York Observer'', 20 December 2004〕 and Katherine Duncan-Jones,〔Matthew Reisz ("The family business" ), ''Times Higher Education'', 26 July 2012〕 and the sister of the food writer Bee Wilson.〔("Beatrice D. Wilson (I18438)" ), Stanford.edu〕 A graduate of Balliol College, Oxford in 1992 (BA in Literae Humaniores, Classical Literature and Philosophy), she undertook her MPhil in English Renaissance Literature (1994) at Corpus Christi College, Oxford and her Doctorate (2001) in Classical and Comparative Literature at Yale University.〔 She won a Rome Prize in 2006.
